We raise wholesome food for our family + yours.
+ Healthy Animals
+ Better Nutrition
+ Amazing Flavor

Raised and processed on our farm – right here in Southwest Missouri.
We don’t just preach, “Buy Local!” – we actually do it. While we’ve got plenty o’ poultry, we’re so thankful for every gallon of milk, cut of beef, and all of the fruits and veggies we’re able to find right here in our community.
Fresh Grass
Our pasture-raised chickens + turkeys are regularly moved to fresh pasture. More bugs, more greens, new ground to scratch – these are the things our feathered friends dream about at night.
“Free” Fertilizer
The nitrogen-rich poo from our birds is distributed across the pasture, contributing to greener, more fertile land for next year’s birds. This is also building the soil instead of just taking from it.
Friendly Faces
There may be days we are covered in sweat (and who knows what else) when you stop by, but we’re always glad to see your face and shake your hand. “Knowing your local farmer” might be a buzzword (phrase?) these days, but we couldn’t be more tickled to get to know the people who eat our food (however, please refrain from actual tickling).

MAKING CHANGES FOR FAMILY
Couch cushion dreamin’
Our farm started in 2021 on our couch in College Station, TX. Some people do a “Couch to 5k,” we did a “Couch to 500 Chickens.”
We read books and watched homesteaders living this life on YouTube until we felt in our hearts it was time to move back to Missouri and do something about it (also, our lease was up and it was time to move on).
Thankfully we have some incredibly supportive family and friends who helped us build infrastructure, do the dirty work on processing days, and just listen to us talk about chickens – they are saints!
When I pause to think about why in the world we did so much at once with so little farming experience, the reason that comes to mind is because this is something we expected to change our lives – and that’s exactly the kind of thing you want to share with other people.
Even strangers on the internet.

What do others have to say?
Lots of good things (whew!).

“Good stuff, Mama!”
